DAPORIJO, 26 Aug: Upper Subansiri deputy commissioner Tasso Gambo stressed the need for coordinated efforts among all departments concerned and stakeholders to ensure successful implementation of immunization programmes across the district.

The DC, who chaired a meeting of the District Task Force for Immunization on Routine Immunization (RI) and the HPV Vaccination Campaign 2026 on Wednesday, urged officials to reach all beneficiaries, create awareness among communities and ensure that no eligible beneficiary is left out.

The meeting was convened to review and strengthen the implementation of the routine immunization programme and the HPV vaccination campaign in the district. 

RRT-WHO Dr. Anshul highlighted key aspects of the immunization programme and the importance of coordinated efforts for effective implementation of the HPV vaccination campaign.

Later, an open discussion was held on issues pertaining to immunization, community mobilisation, inter-departmental coordination and effective implementation of the vaccination campaign. (DIPRO)
