DAPORIJO, 25 Jun: Upper Subansiri Deputy Commissioner Tasso Gambo emphasised the importance of coordinated efforts among all departments and stakeholders to make the IPPI drive a success.
Chairing an orientation programme of the District Task Force for Immunisation (DTFI) on the Intensified Pulse Polio Immunisation (IPPI) programme here on Thursday, the DC urged all officers and frontline workers concerned to carry out their responsibilities with dedication, so that no eligible child is left out of the vaccination programme.
The meeting saw the participation of the DMO, DRCHO, DDSE, ICDS DD, representatives of the WHO, and MOs of CHCs, and PHCs, besides others.
An orientation programme on the IPPI was conducted to strengthen preparedness and ensure effective implementation of the campaign across the district. The participants deliberated on strategies to achieve maximum coverage, strengthen routine immunisation, enhance community awareness, and ensure that every eligible child is reached during the campaign.
Health officials highlighted the significance of maintaining high immunisation coverage to keep the district free from vaccine-preventable diseases, and reiterated the need for active community participation in the campaign.
The meeting concluded with a collective commitment from all stakeholders to ensure the successful implementation of the IPPI programme throughout the district. (DIPRO)
