The team set up a temporary camp at Chariali road, Gandhi Market, where members of the public were appealed to contribute in cash or kind, according to their capacity and willingness, towards providing immediate relief assistance to the fire-affected families.
The two-day drive was led by AYO Upper Subansiri district unit president Leyu Tajar Nilling and secretary Menter Gara, under the guidance of organising chairman Talin Mengnia, organising secretary Tapak Jeke, and overall in-charge Jun Pobo.
