ITANAGAR, 5 Aug: Stating that all alliance partners share political responsibility for the policies and actions of the government they support, the Human Rights of Arunachal (HRA) has appealed to the people of India, as well as to the Telugu Desam Party (TDP), the Janata Dal (United) [JD(U)], and other coalition partners of the National Democratic Alliance (NDA), to reconsider their continued support for the BJP-led union government in the larger public interest.

The HRA stated that the present union government continues in office with the support of its NDA allies, including the TDP, led by N. Chandrababu Naidu; the JD(U), led by Nitish Kumar; as well as other alliance partners such as the Shiv Sena, the Lok Janshakti Party (Ram Vilas), and the Rashtriya Lok Dal (RLD), led by Jayant Chaudhary.

HRA chairman Dr. Kipa Kaha also appealed to civil society organisations, young people, and citizens across the country to engage peacefully, democratically, and constitutionally in public discussions regarding the future direction of the nation.
