YACHULI, 14 Jul: Online registrations have officially opened for the Jawahar Navodaya Vidyalaya Selection Test, 2027.
Recognising that some of the brightest minds are tucked away in the most remote corners of Keyi Panyor district, District Magistrate Shweta Nagarkotihas launched a district-wide outreach initiative to ensure that no deserving child misses out on this opportunity due to lack of awareness or internet access.
Stressing the importance of reaching remote villages, the district magistrate noted that talent is everywhere in Keyi Panyor and opportunity should not be limited by geography or resources.
She emphasised that Jawahar Navodaya Vidyalayasact as a launchpad for children’s dreams, and strongly urged parents, village elders, and teachers to look out for bright young fifth-grade students in their communities and help them take this first step towards a brilliant future.
The selection test and the entirety of the top-tier education at JNV is one hundred per cent free for selected students. Parents and guardians must submit their applications online before the strict registration deadline of 31 July, 2026. The entrance examination itself is scheduled to take place on 28 November.
Families can apply online directly through their mobile phones, computers, or at any local cyber café and Common Service Centre (CSC) by visiting either www.navodaya.gov.in or https://cbseitms.rcil.gov.in/nvs/.
To make the process as smooth as possible for rural families, the district administration has directed all block education officers, primary school teachers, and CSCs across Keyi Panyor to assist parents with the online application form free of charge.
For immediate assistance or localised queries, parents may also contact their nearest government primary school or reach out directly to the office of the principal of the local Jawahar Navodaya Vidyalaya.
