ZIRO, 17 Sep: Rajya Sabha member Tai Tagak urged the Lower Subansiri district administration to keep community needs at the centre of every project to ensure that developmental benefits reach every household directly.
He said this while chairing a review meeting on the 'Viksit Bharat' initiative here on Thursday.
Organised by the office of the deputy commissioner, the event brought together departmental heads and senior administrative officers to align local administrative efforts with national growth targets.
The session opened with an address by Deputy Commissioner Oli Perme, following which administrative teams delivered presentations mapping out strategies across the five core pillars of the Viksit Bharat initiative.
The presentations detailed plans for expanding youth education and skill development through MY Bharat, driving poverty alleviation by guaranteeing full access to basic amenities, encouraging women-led development, modernising agricultural practices, and upgrading public infrastructure through modern technology.
Addressing the gathering, Tagak emphasised that long-term progress relies on strong coordination between departments and effective, on-the-ground execution.
Old Ziro SDO Hage Tarung also spoke. (DIPRO)
