YAZALI, 13 Jun: Yachuli MLA Toko Tatung and Keyi Panyor Mission Plan CEO Vijayan MJ signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) with Ekluvya CEO Aneil Deepak on Saturday to strengthen the education sector in Keyi Panyor district.
The partnership forms part of the Comprehensive Action Plan for Education (CAPE) under the Keyi Panyor Mission Plan 2040, aimed at enhancing the quality of education in government schools and ensuring equal learning opportunities for all students.
As part of the initiative, teacher training programmes were conducted on 8 and 9 June to improve classroom teaching and learning outcomes. A special programme was also organised on 10 June to honour and train anganwadi workers, recognising their vital role in early childhood education and development.
The newly signed MoU will introduce Ekluvya’s digital learning platform for students and teachers. The programme will support students from Class 6 to 12 and provide specialised coaching for competitive examinations such as NEET and JEE through digital resources, expert guidance, and continuous academic support.
The initiative will be implemented free of cost, ensuring that students studying in government schools have access to quality educational resources and modern learning tools.
The objective is to improve academic performance, restore confidence in government schools, and create better opportunities for students across the constituency.
Speaking on the occasion, Tatung reiterated his commitment to making Keyi Panyor a model district in education, equity and inclusive development through people-centric and accountable governance.
The programme is expected to benefit students, teachers and anganwadi workers alike, contributing to the long-term educational transformation of the district.
