PANGIN, 20 May: A team of officials on Tuesday inspected the Industrial Training Institute (ITI) Pangin, in Siang district for affiliation with the National Council for Vocational Education and Training (NCVET).

The team, comprising SDE director Sibo Passing, Guwahati-based RDSDE training officer Benzing Kumbang, DDSE M. Tato, and ADI J. Mize, assessed the institute’s infrastructure, training facilities and overall preparedness for NCVET affiliation.

During the visit, the team also reviewed the functioning of the institute and interacted with staff regarding various operational and academic aspects.

At present, the institute offers vocational courses in solar technician, digital photography, and catering & hospitality. (DIPRO)
