ITANAGAR, 11 Jun: What began as a vision to transform the educational landscape of Arunachal Pradesh has today evolved into a historic movement. Under the leadership of former UPSC aspirant Osin Mosu, ‘Northeast PSC’s 72-Hour Maha Marathon Live Classes’ has already attracted more than 35,000 participants, with numbers continuing to rise as aspirants join from across Arunachal and other parts of the country.

With several major competitive examinations in Arunachal now knocking at the door, Northeast PSC launched the 72-hour marathon with the objective of helping aspirants revise their entire syllabus in a structured and effective manner while strengthening their confidence before the examinations, said a release.

According to Mosu, former Miss Arunachal 2017, the initiative was conceived not merely as a teaching programme but as a statewide revision movement designed to help students consolidate months of preparation in a short period of time.

She emphasised that aspirants should not enter the examination hall in panic mode or under unnecessary pressure. “Instead, they should remain calm, trust their preparation, enjoy the learning process, and use the marathon as a final opportunity to revise important topics, practice questions, current affairs, and exam-oriented strategies,” she said.

“The objective is to replace fear with confidence and anxiety with preparation,” Mosu, the Femina Miss India Arunachal 2018, said, and  added that the marathon has therefore been carefully structured to provide comprehensive revision and guidance during the crucial final days leading up to various competitive examinations.

The marathon, which commenced on 8 June and is being streamed live absolutely free of cost on YouTube, and is providing students with uninterrupted access to quality coaching for competitive examinations. Aspirants can join the ongoing sessions by simply searching ‘Northeast PSC’ on YouTube.

One of Mosu’s strongest beliefs is the principle of ‘Vocal for Local’. She has consistently emphasised the importance of empowering local youths by providing them with employment opportunities, professional training, and exposure to modern workplace practices.

According to her, the future of Arunachal depends not only on educating its students but also on building a skilled workforce that understands professionalism, accountability, teamwork, and leadership.

“Northeast PSC is not just preparing students for examinations; it is creating an ecosystem where education, employment, and empowerment go together. We want our youths to dream big, compete nationally, and at the same time contribute to the development of Arunachal Pradesh,” she stated.

Under her leadership, Northeast PSC has established three centres in the Itanagar Capital Region, one centre in Pasighat, and one centre in Namsai, all equipped with modern digital classrooms and learning facilities. The institution also operates a dedicated mobile application that allows students to attend live classes, access study materials, and revisit recorded lectures for up to one year.

As participation continues to climb beyond 35,000 and counting, Northeast PSC’s Maha Marathon stands as a powerful example of how visionary leadership, dedicated teamwork, and a commitment to community development can create lasting impact. Through this initiative, Mosu and her team are proving that with determination, discipline, and the right opportunities, the youths of Arunachal can compete with the very best in the country, the release said.
