ITANAGAR, 1 Jul: The Indian Red Cross Society, Arunachal Pradesh State branch airlifted and distributed essential relief materials to families affected by the recent flash floods in Possa village in Keyi Panyor district.

The relief materials were airlifted from the helipad at Naharlagun to Yazali via Ziro under the guidance of the governor, who is also the president of Red Cross Society, Arunachal Pradesh branch, and in close coordination with the civil aviation department and department of disaster management and Lower Subansiri and Keyi Panyor district administrations.

The relief items were subsequently distributed among the affected families.
