ITANAGAR, 8 Aug: The Ramle Banggo Welfare Society (RBWS), in collaboration with the Wildlife Trust of India (WTI) and the Environment, Forest & Climate Change Department, distributed relief materials to the flood-affected families of Kakki village in East Siang district on Saturday.
The distributed items included solar lamps, chargeable torches with batteries, head lamps, lifesaving jackets, 'snake rescue kits', ponchos, etc,sponsored by Foundation Segre, the WTI, and the Forest Department, it informed in a release.
The team was led by RBWS general secretary Murter Kakki, along with WTI senior manager Dr Panjit Basumutary, and D Ering Wildlife Sanctuary Foresters Nyaken Zirdo and T Kaman.
