ITANAGAR, 31 May: A team of the Bharat Scouts and Guides, Arunachal Pradesh, visited RK Mission Hospital (RKMH) here on Saturday, under the leadership of Guides State Training Commissioner Kempi Pakam.
During the visit, fruits, biscuits, and boiled eggs were distributed to patients admitted in the children’s ward, male ward, female ward, maternity ward, and emergency ward as a gesture of care, compassion, and service.
“The initiative reflected the true spirit of scouting and guiding by promoting kindness, empathy, and selfless service towards humanity. The team also conveyed best wishes for the speedy recovery and wellbeing of the patients,” Pakam stated in a release.
RKMH secretary Swami Vedaswarananda appreciated the humanitarian gesture of the scouts and guides, and described the initiative as a meaningful step towards humanity, compassion, and community service, the release said.
