ITANAGAR, 14 Sep: Biri Takar from Arunachal Pradesh won a bronze medal at the Japan Para Badminton International 2026 - Level II, held in Tokyo from 8 to 13 September.

Congratulating Takar for bringing laurels to the state and the country, the Paralympic Association of Arunachal (PAA) said his achievement is an inspiration for aspiring para-athletes across Arunachal and demonstrates that with proper opportunities, support, training, and determination, athletes of the state can excel on the international stage.

The PAA wished him continued success in his future international competitions.
