ITANAGAR, 18 Jul: Arunachal’s leading para athlete Tingong Wangpan has been selected by the Paralympic Committee of India to represent the country at the World Para Athletics Grand Prix, 2026, in Tlaxcala, Mexico.
He will compete in the men’s T35 200m and 400m sprint events against some of the world’s top para-athletes, the Paralympic Association of Arunachal said in a release.
The association extended its best wishes to him for the event.
The event is being held from 16 to 24 July.
