NAHALAGUN, 18 Jun: A state level workshop on ‘Enhancing digital governance through UMANG, myScheme and DigiLocker’ was organised at the banquet hall here by the Department of Information Technology & Communication, in collaboration with the NeGD and the Ministry of Electronics and Information Technology, on Thursday.
The workshop focused on promoting digital governance and creating awareness about various digital platforms developed by the Government of India.
IT & e-Governance Chairman Nyamar Karbak and Dr Yijum Tato highlighted the importance and benefits of these digital platforms. The workshop was followed by presentations from NeGD resource persons.
Prabhnoor Singh from the NeGD explained how DigiLocker enables citizens with regard to security access, storing and managing important documents digitally.
Sarwes Kumer highlighted the UMANG (Unified Mobile Application for New-age governance) andmyScheme. (DIPR)
