ITANAGAR, 7 Jun: The Arunachal Pradesh Civil Service Officers’ Association (APCSOA) has strongly condemned the physical assault, reportedly by one Agam Mihu, on Dr Tadang Rai here on the morning of 6 June.

“The broad daylight assault on the officer, reportedly stemming from an incident that arose during the official discharge of his duties, and which is already the subject of a police investigation in Anini, is a cause for deep concern,” the association said in a release.

Such an assault on a civil servant is completely unacceptable, it said.

“The APCSOA stands in total solidarity with Dr Tadang Rai and calls for a fair, thorough and swift investigation into the matter,” the release said.
