ANINI, 11 Jun: Dibang Valley Deputy Commissioner Bakir Nyorak encouraged all educational institutions in the district to continue striving for excellence.
Chairing a coordination meeting of the Education Department here on Thursday, the DC emphasised the need for maintaining high academic standards, ensuring regular monitoring of students’ performance, strengthening teacher-student engagement, and fostering an environment conducive to learning.
The meeting was attended by officials of the Education Department, heads of institutions, teachers, educational functionaries, and other stakeholders.
DDSE Tenzing Wangda presented an overview of the meeting, and emphasised the importance of collaborative efforts for the overall development of the district’s education sector.
BEO Diganta Mihu presented the key achievements and challenges of the department, and highlightged the progress made in academic performance, implementation of educational programmes, infrastructural development, and various initiatives undertaken to improve the quality of education.
Among the attendees was Anini-I ZPM Eta Mihu, who shared insights into the importance of quality education and the collective responsibility of all stakeholders in strengthening the district’s education system.
He congratulated the students, teachers, and educational functionaries for their dedicated efforts towards improving educational outcomes.
Special recognition was accorded to the teaching fraternity for their outstanding contributions to academic excellence. The DC felicitated the principal, headmaster, and all subject teachers of Government Higher Secondary School Anini, and Government Secondary School Etalin for achieving 100% pass results and for the remarkable improvement in the Class 10 examination results of the district.
