ROING, 18 May: MLAs Mutchu Mithi and Puinnyo Apum advised the departments concerned and banks to work together to ensure early disbursement of loans under the Atmanirbhar scheme to benefit the beneficiaries.

Both the MLAs said this during a District Level Monitoring Committee meeting held here in Lower Dibang Valley district on Monday, in the presence of the zilla parishad chairperson and ZPMs, Deputy Commissioner Fwwrman Brahma, SP Ringu Ngupok, CBOs, heads of offices, administrative officers, and representatives from the NHIDCL, PGCL, NHPC and ITBP.

The MLAs also called for maximising the number of beneficiaries under social security schemes like old age pension and the CMAAY. They appealed to the government for inclusion of non-APSTs residing in the district under the CMAAY scheme.

The DC said that the meeting was held to discuss, deliberate and focus on the Atmanirbhar schemes, health coverage schemes, social security schemes, education, ArSRLM, Viksit Bharat – Guarantee for Rozgar and Ajeevika Mission (Gramin), etc.

All the departments delivered presentations on the various schemes and projects being implemented by them. (DIPRO)
