KVK plant protection scientist Dr Madhumita Sonowal Bora apprised the participants of the essential apiculture techniques, focusing on sustainable honey production and hive management practices to enhance their livelihood opportunities and promote local biodiversity conservation. Also, exposure visits to the apiary units at 7 Km in Namsai district and Bordumsa in Changlang district were organised to provide hands-on experience in colony inspection, queen bee identification, and seasonal management of bee colonies. The training concluded with distribution of certificates to the participants.
