ITANAGAR, 28 Jul: The State Council for IT & e-Governance, IT&C Department, in collaboration with the Elementary Education Department, conducted a training programme on the Arunachal Pradesh State Board Examination (APSBE) application at the civil secretariat here on Tuesday.

The APSBE app has been developed by the IT&C Department to digitise all examination-related activities of the APSBE for Classes 5 and 8. The system streamlines examination processes through an integrated digital platform, enhancing transparency, efficiency, accuracy, and timely management of examination-related data.

During the 2025-26 academic session, the APSBE app was successfully implemented as a pilot in five districts – Tawang, Papum Pare, East Siang, Lohit, and Namsai. Following its successful implementation, the app will be expanded to all districts of Arunachal in the second phase, enabling statewide adoption.

The sessions covered the complete workflow of the APSBE app, including school registration, student data management, examination processes, result management, report generation, and the users’roles and responsibilities.

Participants also engaged in hands-on practical demonstrations and interactive discussions to familiarise themselves with the portal’s features and operational procedures.

The department reiterated its commitment to leveraging digital technologies for improving governance and service delivery in the education sector. The statewide implementation of the APSBE app is expected to significantly enhance the efficiency, reliability, and transparency of the state board examination process while ensuring uniformity in examination management across Arunachal.

The training concluded with an interactive question-and-answer session, during which participants shared their feedback and sought clarifications regarding the implementation process.

Officials expressed confidence that the knowledge gained during the programme would facilitate the smooth adoption and effective utilisation of the APSBE app across the state.
