DAPORIJO, 15 Jul: The phased shifting of the Upper Subansiri deputy commissioner’s office to the new secretariat building began on Wednesday with the DC and other officers relocating to the new premises.

Shifting of other branches and sections is underway and will continue in the coming days.

The district administration said that while the deputy commissioner and other officers have started functioning from the new building, the shifting of branches and office records is still underway.

Other district offices and departments will also be relocated to the new building in a phased manner in the near future.

The district administration has appealed to the public to cooperate during the relocation.

Upon completion of the shifting, the new secretariat building is expected to serve as a centralized administrative hub, enhancing efficiency, accessibility, and the overall delivery of government services. (DIPRO)
