Editor,
I appeal to all 60 MLAs of the Legislative Assembly and both the Lok Sabha MPs to extend immediate humanitarian assistance under the MLALAD and MPLAD funds and ensure timely relief for the affected families of Possa village and the NEEPCO Colony in Keyi Panyor district, and the Ramle Bango area in Lower Siang district.
Many people are struggling to access basic necessities, including food, safe shelter, clean drinking water, healthcare, and other essential services. Immediate and coordinated intervention is necessary to reduce the suffering of the affected communities and help them rebuild their lives.
I urge all elected representatives to work closely with the Government of Arunachal Pradesh, the respective district administrations, and the departments concerned to ensure prompt delivery of relief materials, humanitarian assistance, and rehabilitation measures. There is also the need to restore the damaged infrastructure and to support the long-term recovery of the affected families.
The people affected by this unfortunate situation need our collective support and compassion. I sincerely appeal to all our MLAs and MPs to stand with the affected families during this difficult time and take all necessary steps to ensure that immediate relief and rehabilitation are provided to the affected families.
I am confident that the united efforts of the elected representatives, government agencies, civil society organisations, and the public would provide hope and relief to the affected families and help restore normalcy at the earliest.
Tagit Sorang,
Everester
