NAHARLAGUN, 28 May: A three-day Vidya Bharati Purvottar Kshetra (VBPK) panchpadiadhigam padhati workshop, being organised by the Arunachal Shiksha Vikas Samiti (ASVS), began at Pachin Colony here on Thursday.
Addressing the inaugural session, dignitaries including Vidya Bharati Akhil Bharatiya ShikshaSansthan (VBABSS) all-India organising secretary Gobinda Chandra Mahanta, VPABSS vice president Dusi Ramakrishna Rao, and VBPK organising secretary Dr Pawan Tiwari emphasised the importance of value-based education, innovative teaching methodologies, and the role of teachers in nation-building.
The workshop has brought together master trainers from all the Northeastern states under the VBPK. The workshop aims to strengthen the panchpadi adhigampadhati and enhance the quality of teaching-learning practices in Vidya Bharati institutions across the region, the ASVS informed in a release.
The programme will conclude on 30 May, it said.
