While social media influencers and sections of the media remain focused on debating the pros and cons of dams in Arunachal Pradesh, why is there so little attention on reported Chinese encroachment along its borders?

The concerns are not hypothetical. Arunachal's territorial integrity and national security are already facing serious concerns. Allegations of Chinese advances and threats to ancestral lands, particularly around Taksing, deserve transparent investigation and national attention.

The debate on the Siang Upper Multipurpose Project will continue, but why are we debating a possible future threat while overlooking security concerns that already exist?
