PARSI PARLO, 17 Jul: The Nyishi Baptist Church Council (NBCC) on Friday provided relief aid to the families affected by the flood that occurred here in Kurung Kumey district on 13 July.

The relief aid was delivered by the NBCC’s relief and rehabilitation department, along with its pastoral department, led by Rev Tao Temi, secretary of the relief and rehabilitation department, and Rev Tamchi Kelum, secretary of the pastoral department.

 During the visit, the NBCC team visited the affected families, offering words of comfort and encouragement during this difficult time.

The Baptist Church of Mizoram (BCM) also participated by contributing to the flood-affected families.

NBCC general secretary Rev Dr Tana Tagi Taraappealed to everyone to help the victims of the flash flood by making contributions.
